Ingredients:
2 cups of green lentils
1 cup of diced bacon
1 1/2 cup of diced carrots
1/2 diced yellow onion
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 cup of diced celery
1 bouquet garni
4 grilled "Joza" chorizo sausage
2 diced red tomatoes
5 cups of chicken stock or water
1 cup of diced potato
1 tbsp of peanut oil
Methods:
- In a pot, place the lentils in cold water. Bring it to a boil, then strain and wash the lentils
- In a medium size pot, put in oil and bacon. Cook until you obtain a nice golden color.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook for 4 minutes. Add the lentils, carrots, bouquet garni, celery, chorizo, potato and stock (or water), and cook for 18 minutes.
- Take the sausages out and cut them in small pieces.
- Put the cut sausages back in the pot and add the diced tomatoes and salt. Serve hot.
