Genoa, Italy (Episode #50)
Genoa's place as a famed maritime republic
from ancient times is evident in the cobbled streets and renaissance
landmarks, which give way to wide boulevards housing many of the
shops, made famous throughout Italy. The renowned scarlet-hued
Campari aperitif is our discovery in this wonderful Italian port.
We travel up the coast to the beach side town of Verazze, where
the Restaurant Santa Caterina is home to two of Italy's outstanding
chefs who show us the secrets of making award winning pesto as
well as some of their most innovative signature dishes.
