Plymouth, Massachusetts (Episode #61)
Taste of Life visits Plymouth County Mass.,
a popular destination since 1620, when the Pilgrim Fathers first
landed. History comes alive at the Plimoth Plantation where we mingle
with Pilgrims as they go about their daily work of tending to homes,
gardens and animals. We then join them to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner
at the spot where the tradition was born. Come aboard the Mayflower
2 in Plymouth Harbor as we tour a replica of the sailing ship that
carried the pilgrims across the Atlantic. Return to the present
when we explore "Cranberry Country" where the colorful
little berry is a major crop and home to the Ocean Spray Cranberry
World exhibition.
